Dr. John Johnson, OD
Dr. John Johnson is a highly respected optometrist dedicated to delivering comprehensive, medical, and technology-driven eye care for patients of all ages. Born and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas, he developed a strong work ethic and competitive drive early in life, qualities that continue to shape his approach to patient care today. Excellence runs in the family. Dr. Johnson is the brother of JW Johnson, a top-10 ranked professional and one of the youngest athletes to win a men’s singles title at age 19, as well as Jorja Johnson, a top-ranked professional competitor. Growing up in a high-performance environment instilled in him a relentless commitment to precision, discipline, and continuous improvement, a record-breaking mindset he now applies to delivering exceptional eye care in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. With extensive experience diagnosing and managing both routine and complex eye conditions, he combines clinical excellence with a personalized approach to vision care. Dr. Justin Obana, OD
Dr Justin Obana was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and is proud to serve the DFW community he calls home. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas before completing his Doctor of Optometry at the Rosenberg School of Optometry at the University of the Incarnate World in San Antonio. Dr Obana completed residency training in the ocular disease and primary care at the White River Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center in affiliation with the New England College of Optometry. Since 2016, he has been practicing optometry in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a strong focus on medical eye care. He provides comprehensive diabetic eye exams and manages a wide range of ocular diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration, delivering personalized treatment plans focused on protecting and preserving long-term vision. Dr Obana also specializes in advanced and specialty contact lens fittings. He has extensive experience managing complex cases such as keratoconus and corneal ectasia using scleral lenses, rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, and hybrid contact lenses. In addition, he offers specialty contact lens options for myopia management, including MiSight and orthokeratology (Ortho-K), helping slow the progression of nearsightedness in children and young adults. He is a member of the Texas Optometry Board and remains actively involved in his local community. Outside the clinic, Dr Obana volunteers as a youth coach for the Uplift Academy Olympic Weightlifting Training Center, mentoring young athletes and promoting health, discipline and confidence through sport.

Dr. Leena Ajjour, OD
Dr. Leena Ajjour is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care and helping patients feel confident about their vision and eye health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Houston and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she graduated with the highest honors and participated in several optometric organizations. During her clinical training, Dr. Ajjour completed rotations at multiple private practices, gaining extensive experience in full-scope optometric care with a focus on anterior and posterior segment ocular disease, including dry eye disease, cataracts, glaucoma and diabetic eye care, along with surgical co-management and specialty contact lens care. As a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Ajjour is passionate about helping patients of all ages find the best solutions for their vision and eye health. Now based in Dallas, she enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and providing individualized eye care that supports long-term vision and overall wellness. Outside the office, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring everything Dallas has to offer.

Michelle Carpenter
Michelle Carpenter serves as the Ocular Hygienist and Director of FLOW, the practice’s specialized dry eye and ocular surface disease division serving Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. She leads the development and delivery of advanced, results-driven treatment programs designed to address the root causes of dry eye disease, meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), blepharitis, and chronic ocular surface inflammation. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Public Health, providing a strong scientific and clinical foundation for her work in ocular surface rehabilitation. She is certified in Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy and Radio Frequency (RF) treatments for dry eye disease, utilizing advanced technology to reduce inflammation, restore meibomian gland function, and improve tear film stability. She specializes in comprehensive dry eye evaluations, patient education, and structured treatment planning. Michelle coordinates and supports advanced in-office therapies including IPL therapy, radiofrequency treatments, thermal gland expression, lid margin debridement, meibomian gland optimization, and customized ocular surface rehabilitation programs. Her focus extends beyond symptom relief to long-term stabilization of the tear film and restoration of total ocular surface health. Working closely with the clinical team, Michelle ensures each FLOW patient receives a personalized care plan based on advanced diagnostic findings, tear film analysis, and gland function assessment. She is passionate about helping patients understand the connection between ocular surface disease and overall eye health, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment journey. Under her leadership, FLOW delivers advanced dry eye treatment throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, proudly serving the communities of Fort Worth, Dallas, Grapevine, Southlake, Keller, Colleyville, Trophy Club, Roanoke, North Richland Hills, Bedford, Euless, Hurst, Westlake, Flower Mound, and surrounding DFW neighborhoods. She is responsible for gathering comprehensive dry eye diagnostics, including detailed patient history related to meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), inflammation, tear film instability, and lifestyle factors that contribute to chronic ocular surface disease. She performs in-office Radio Frequency (RF) treatments designed to stimulate meibomian gland function, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation associated with evaporative dry eye disease. Her precision in both diagnostic data collection and therapeutic delivery ensures each FLOW patient receives accurate, personalized, and results-driven care. Highly regarded for her knowledge in nutrition, physical fitness, and total body health, she understands the connection between systemic wellness and ocular surface stability. She educates patients on how inflammation, diet, hydration, hormonal balance, and overall metabolic health directly influence dry eye symptoms and tear film quality. Her approach reinforces FLOW’s philosophy that sustainable dry eye treatment combines advanced technology with supportive guidance and individualized care. Ryan Leigh
Ryan Leigh serves as Practice Administrator, overseeing operations and patient experience across our Dallas and Fort Worth eye care locations. He plays a key role in ensuring every patient receives a seamless, efficient experience from scheduling a comprehensive eye exam to completing advanced medical and vision services. Ryan focuses on optimizing systems that support routine eye exams, contact lens exams, dry eye evaluations, and medical eye appointments. His leadership ensures patients searching for an eye doctor in Dallas or Fort Worth can access timely appointments, streamlined check-in processes, and coordinated care across all departments. With a strong commitment to operational excellence, Ryan works behind the scenes to support clinical teams, manage workflow efficiency, and enhance the overall patient journey.
